Anthony W. Daws, M.D., FACS

Dr. Daws received a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in 1972. He is a Board Certified Surgeon and a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. After practicing conventional medicine for more than 25 years, Dr. Daws became interested in anti-aging and preventative medicine. As his interest and knowledge grew, the concept of a Wellness Center developed. It is with great pride that his practice now includes a variety of modalities to provide you with the most optimal results. We offer disease prevention, medical and surgical treatment, and aesthetics. At the Daws Wellness Center the staff is highly trained, licensed medical professionals which ensure safe and effective treatments. In Dr. Daws' free time he enjoys flying and football.

Laura Daws, CST/CFA, CPT, Office Manager

Laura Daws, has been a Surgical Technologist and First Assistant since 1974. For the past 25 years she has assisted her husband, Dr. Daws. About 5 years ago Laura became increasingly interested in fitness and spent 4 months in Orlando, FL where she obtained her certification as a personal fitness trainer. As the practice expanded her credentials grew to include certification in laser treatments. When Laura is not working she enjoys playing on Lake Hartwell with her family and friends, as well as sharing her healthy recipes.

Kathy Gray, LMT/LPE

Kathy Gray has been a licensed Massage Therapist for ten years and a licensed Aesthetician for five years. She is licensed in the states of South Carolina, Georgia and Florida. She is nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Massage Therapy and Body Work. Kathy’s hands help soothe your aches and pains and help facilitate the body’s own natural healing powers.

She was also the recipient of the “Golden Hands Award” in South Florida.

Betsy Doody, MA, Patient Coordinator

Betsy completed her Medical Assistant training in 1998 and has worked for Dr. Daws since that time. With her friendly attitude and her love for the patients she goes the extra mile to meet every patient’s individual needs. She is certified in laser hair removal and laser vein therapy. She is our insurance and billing manager. She was born and raised in New York but has resided in Georgia since 1979 where she met her husband and has raised her 4 children. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Margaret Blomberg, RN, Nurse Manager

Margaret has been a Registered Nurse since 1994 with a background in MedSurg, Outpatient, and Hospice nursing. She is also a certified laser specialist in facial rejuvenation, vein therapy and hair removal. Margaret assists Dr. Daws with all medical procedures including Vnus Closure, sclerotherapy, lipodissolve, Botox and Fillers, Liposuction, and Abdominoplasty.

Caroline Timms, Registered Dietician, Registered Nurse, Family Nurse Practitioner

Caroline graduated from the University of Georgia with a Masters in Food Science and Human Nutrition in 1990. She moved to Anderson, SC and worked as a dietitian in a hospital setting. She started attending Clemson University and received a Masters in Nursing. She has over 18 years experience in the healthcare and wellness fields. Her experience includes family medicine, prevention of chronic disease, weight loss, and wellness. She is a certified weight loss specialist. Caroline’s lifestyle reflects her interest and passion.
